1. Data We Collect

Anonymous Users: We do not collect any personal information. Files uploaded for compression are temporarily stored and automatically deleted within 1 hour. We use anonymized analytics to track file types and sizes only.

Registered Users: We store your email address (encrypted) and compression history (metadata only - file names, sizes, dates). We never store your actual files permanently.

2. Client-Side Compression

For files under 5MB, compression happens entirely in your browser. These files never leave your device and are never uploaded to our servers.

3. Data Retention

• Uploaded files: Deleted after 1 hour
• Compression history: Kept until account deletion
• Rate limit data: Reset every 24 hours

4. Your Rights (DPDP Compliance)

• Right to access your data
• Right to delete your account and all associated data
• Right to data portability

5. Security

All data is encrypted in transit (HTTPS) and at rest. Passwords are hashed using bcrypt. We never store payment card information.
